POCR-Pour over Coffee Roasters
By Payal Sahni
There are cafés, and then there are places that understand how a city moves. Pour Over Coffee Roasters has always been part of Delhi’s everyday rhythm—but with its newly revamped space in Khan Market, it’s stepped into something far more relevant: an all-day address that keeps pace with you. We dropped by expecting my usual coffee fix.and we stayed longer than planned.

Not Just a Revamp—A Shift in Energy
Mornings here still feel familiar—calm, grounded, almost intentional. The kind of place where your coffee isn’t rushed, and neither are you. But what’s changed is what happens next. As the day unfolds, POCR transitions—subtly but surely—into a more social, more expressive space. The introduction of the AM–PM bar isn’t loud or gimmicky; it feels like a natural progression of what the brand has always stood for—conversation, community, and craft.
What I Ate (and Would Go Back For)

The Wild Mushroom & Truffle Sourdough stood out—earthy, balanced, and exactly the kind of plate you pair with a long conversation. POCR’s menu doesn’t overwhelm; it flows with your mood, which I appreciated. The morning Glory Pizza also melted in our mouths easily. Our favourite Roasted Fig & Feta Mousse — with rocket & walnuts
The Real Turn: Coffee Meets Cocktails

This is where things get interesting. The new bar menu doesn’t feel like an add-on—it feels like the second half of the story. I tried the Expresso Martini , and it was easily one of the more memorable coffee-based cocktails I’ve had in Delhi—smooth, slightly playful, and well-balanced. Espresso Martini — vodka infused with in-house coffee liqueur & cacao buttermilk. Smooth, bold, and unforgettable
The Stem & Stone was cleaner, sharper—something I’d go back for on a summer evening. And if you’re someone who likes layered flavours, their bolder mixes like Aurora Bitter hold their own without being overwhelming.

Why This Works
What POCR gets right is restraint. It doesn’t try to be everything at once—it simply evolves through the day. And that’s rare.Founded by Ritika and Aditya Sharma, the brand has always had clarity in its identity—good coffee, honest sourcing, and a space that feels easy to return to. The revamp builds on that without losing its core.
The Takeaway
In a city full of new openings and fleeting trends, POCR’s Khan Market space feels like it’s built for longevity. You can walk in for a quick coffee, stay for a meeting, and end with a cocktail—without ever feeling out of place. And honestly, that’s exactly what Delhi needs more of.
