Mexican food with best tequilas in Delhi

We had the opportunity to visit Miss  Margarita by Arriba ( GK 2) a few days back. There were so many things that we liked about it.

A.The subtle charm and not too noisy.

B. The loyal customers who actually know the meaning of good taste.

C. The Mexican vibes with decor, ambiance, hats and music.

D. Place for family and friends, young and old and there is something for every one.

E. Hot spot for Tequila lovers and the best Tequilas in town.

Miss Margarita is a venture of Agave Hospitality whose partners are veterans in the f&b industry and have had great success with properties like – Arriba, Hungry Monkey, Tabula Rasa, Big Fat Sandwich and Wok Me. They wanted to create a space which evokes a colourful yet laid back spirit of Mexico, giving a warm vibe with dramatic architectural details, Hand painted wall art and tiles, symbolic of Aztec/ Mayan culture against a vibrant palette of tangerine, coral, aqua and cobalt.

India’s first Tequila Bar

Miss Margarita is a celebration of all things Tequila! It boasts a spectacular collection of Margaritas, clubbed with a wide range of Tequila Cocktails on its bar menu. Check out the Classic Margaritas served with different types of salt rims, signature margaritas – like Pineapple Ginger Jalapeno Margarita, the Cinnamon Tamarind Margarita or the Frozen Coconut Margarita. It would be a sin to miss out on cocktails like Heaven on Earth, Orange Basil Tequila Smash and the Barrel Aged Tequila Manhattan. The jewel of the Margarita menu is the Gigante BullDog Margarita, a Classic lime margarita served in a 1 litre glass with two Corona beers. We dare you to finish just one.

About Noah Barnes

Noah Barnes, Co- Founder & Chef at Miss Margarita by Arriba

Noah Barnes, is one of the youngest and undeniably one of the finest chefs the country has seen. Born and brought up in suburban Bombay, Barnes has been raised on healthy doses of old English cuisine thanks to his Anglo-Indian grandmother’s British-influenced cooking. His quaint upbringing clearly shines through in his dishes.

Noah has accomplished a lot at a young age, right from graduating from IHM, Mumbai to mastering the art of European cuisine; he has put his name to a number of golds while competing in various culinary challenges. He won first place in AAHAR, an annual International Food & Hospitality Fair held in Delhi and the state level held in Bangalore and then went on to qualify for the Hans Bueschkens, a competition organised by the Culinary Competition Committee on behalf of the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS) . At 22, Chef Noah Barnes was the first Indian and one of the youngest chefs to qualify and represent India in the Hans Bueschkens Junior Chef Challenge at the Asia semi-finals held in Hong Kong. Due to his exceptional training in world cuisines, he garnered a bronze medal at Bocuse d’or, a biennial chef championship, often referred to as the culinary equivalent of the Olympic Games.

His approach to food is simple. He prefers sticking to classical techniques with the essence of flavour and texture garnering prime importance. Barnes, given his background, is partial to European cooking techniques. His biggest challenge of bringing European cuisine to the Indian taste palate is also his most satisfying endeavour. He describes his style as a fine mix of European technique, global flavours and seasonal, local produce while adhering to the French classical style.

Known for his warm, genial nature, Chef Noah Barnes has worked in India’s finest restaurants and developed menus throughout the country while understanding the needs and demands of the Indian diner. The boisterous chef brings all this and more to his food much to a gastronome’s delight considering the affable chef’s loyal customers keep coming back for more. So what is his vision going forward? To see India reach global standards when it comes to culinary experiences!

Must visit place in Delhi for a relaxed evening and great tequilas.
