Courtyard by Marriott, a stunning property in the heart of Aravalli, Haryana, is hosting the Tangra Festival to bring to you the flavours from the famed Chinatown in Kolkata.
THE TANGRA FESTIVAL:
Providing the best experience to its patrons, Courtyard by Marriott is all set to host the ‘Taste of Tangra’ feast with a specially curated menu by Chef Tinku Das who hails from the Chinatown region, at Huang – the Pan-Asian specialty restaurant between the 12th – 21st of April. The 9-day event is inspired by the Tangrais region in East Kolkata which is known to be the only Chinatown in India. The food from the region is an amalgamation of Chinese and Indian flavours, adapted to a Bengali palate – popularly known as “Hakka Style” Chinese food.
Courtyard by Marriott is ecstatic to bring the flavours and authenticity of Tangra to its patrons with Chef Tinku Das who hails from Chinatown, Kolkata. Along with being raised in the surroundings of authentic and traditional Asian cuisine, Chef Tinku has worked in Chinatown for 16 years where he developed a unique sense of style while cooking oriental cuisines.

The specially curated menu of the Tangra Fest includes delectable offerings starting with traditional soups such as Wonton, Talumein and Lung Fung, followed by starters including both vegetarian and non vegetarian offerings like Tangra vegetable Pakora, Crispy Fried Mushrooms, Roast Chilli Pork, Pan fried Chilli Fish, Drums of Heaven and Dragon Chicken.Catering to special twists with Indian flavours, the menu includes Manchurian, Tangra Chilli Chicken Shanghai and Mandarin Prawns in the main course.
