Shangri-La Eros Hotel, New Delhi has introduced a new culinary experience – a plant based Italian pop-up menu at the Italian restaurant Sorrento, available for the guests to feast on from 11th – 20th May, 2023.
The culinary team headed by Executive Chef Gagandeep Sawhney has curated an unforgettable gastronomic journey that illuminates the authentic and traditional Italian cuisine with a vegan twist. The newly curated menu offers a unique and one-of-a-kind dining experience to the patrons with minimally processed ingredients and plant based diet offering all the necessary proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. The wide variety of options transports your taste buds to the picturesque “ristorantes” of Italy!
To start with, the special menu offers High Fibre Salads, Crispy Baked Smashed Potato and Vegan Pizzas along with a range of Vegan Pastas such as Potato Ravioli, Foxtail Fettucine and Himalayan Pine Tree Risotto. Moving on to the main course, one can indulge in appetising Zucchini Involtini rolls alongside Slow Cooked Farmed Broccoli Flower and much more. To end the meal, the dessert offerings have Coconut Chocolate Sphere and Oat Milk Gelato with Swirl.
