Heritage Aviation, a pioneer in India’s helicopter services, proudly announces the launch of daily helicopter flights on the Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route. This latest initiative is set to enhance regional connectivity and transform travel in the scenic yet remote regions of Uttarakhand.
The new service is designed to provide swift, comfortable, and efficient travel for both
residents and tourists, offering unparalleled aerial views of Uttarakhand’s breathtaking
landscapes. By reducing travel time significantly, the route is expected to drive local
economic growth and foster tourism in the region.
After Pithoragarh, Munsyari and Champawat, Heritage Aviation is now adding Almora as
their new destination. They are starting regular flights under the UDAN scheme on Almora-
Pithoragarh-Almora route. Heritage Aviation will be operating two daily flights on 7-seater
helicopters on this route.
The first flight will commence from Pithoragarh at 10.00 AM with the return flight from
Almora at 10.20 AM while the second flight will take-off from Pithoragarh at 1.40 PM and
the return flight from Almora at 2.05 PM.
Heritage Aviation is the only private company which is providing Regional Connectivity
Flights by Helicopter under the UDAN scheme. Rohit Mathur, CEO and Managing
Director of Heritage Aviation added, “Our target is to connect all important places and
towns in Uttarakhand by helicopter. Very soon we will be starting Daily flights on Dehradun
Bageshwar, Haldwani, Bageshwar and Dehradun Nainital sectors also. The fares for these
flights are very cheap and we want more and more local people to benefit from these flights.”
The fare for Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route has been fixed at very affordable rates at
Rs 2,500 per person and bookings can be made from their website www.airheritage.in.
This new route underscores the company’s dedication to making travel faster, safer, and more
