Arrival & First Impressions

We reached AamaGhati Wildlife Resort after a scenic three-hour drive from Jaipur. The moment we arrived, the jungle seemed to greet us. From the grand entrance with aarti, mala(garlands), aam paana ( the sweet salty raw mangoes drinks and as the name suggests (AAM-Mangoes)to the earthy tones of the architecture, everything blended naturally with the surroundings.

The check-in was smooth. We were warmly welcomed by the General Manager Mr. Ravindra Nath Purohit and the attentive staff. Their hospitality set the tone for what was to come.

Luxury Rooms with a Wild Soul

Each room is designed to reflect the spirit of the jungle. Ours came with a wide veranda facing the hills. The interiors were warm, earthy, and elegant.

Made with natural materials, the rooms stayed cool and calm—even in the heat. The mix of old-world building techniques and modern luxury was impressive. The bathrooms were spacious. The bed was heavenly and with the semi soft matresses just the way we wanted it. The room opened with the private sitting area in the backyard where we could just hear the birds chirping , water flowing and the peacocks dancing . And the silence of the jungle? Unbeatable.

Safari, Sightings & Pure Adrenaline

AamaGhati is the closest resort to the park’s main gates, which meant less travel time and more wildlife time. On our second safari, luck struck—we saw a tiger in its full glory. Walking confidently just ahead of our jeep, the moment was surreal. The resort had arranged a knowledgeable naturalist, who made the drive even more engaging. His insights added depth to the experience.

Dining That Celebrates Local & Luxury

Food at AamaGhati is more than a meal—it’s a journey.

  • Baradari: All-day dining with buffet and à la carte menus
  • Badal Mahal: Open-air dining under the stars
  • High Point: Private celebrations and intimate dinners
  • Naal Ghati: High tea with a forest view
  • Johra Bora Bar: Signature cocktails and classic pours

The highlight? A curated fish dish by the chef—perfectly seasoned and presented. It was one of the best we’ve ever had. Every meal here was personal, plated with care, and full of local flavour. We had requested for healthy version of desserts which they happily did and made our culinary experinec most memorable.

Culture, Craft & Community

Evenings at AamaGhati are filled with warmth. We enjoyed live Rajasthani music, storytelling through dance, and a lac bangle artisan showcasing his craft. During the evening tea time, the resort organises tea, snacks, chot chat good ambiance under the mangoes tree and we can feel the true Rajasthan culture.

Guests can also walk to Dastkar Ranthambore, just 800 meters away. It’s a local craft centre supporting women artisans. A must-visit.

Spa & Slow Living

After the early safaris, we needed time to unwind. The Sri Sri Wellbeing Centre at the resort was ideal. We booked a massage therapy session, which left us completely refreshed.

It’s the only Sri Sri Wellness centre in Rajasthan, and a great option for guests looking to balance adventure with healing.

Pools with a View :The two pools on the property are stunning. Surrounded by greenery and calm, they’re perfect for a mid-day swim or evening relaxation. We floated in the water with views of the Aravallis. It was peaceful, private, and unforgettable.

Hospitality That Stays with You: From the moment we checked in to the last goodbye, AamaGhati’s hospitality felt heartfelt. The General Manager Mr. Ravindra Nath Purohit and the team went above and beyond—from preparing special meals to coordinating perfect safari timings. The GM personally engaged with us for storytelling, the history behind and it was meaningful, knowledgeable and pleasing at the same time engaging in conversation with him.

Aamaghati wildlife resort is being managed by Blackrock Hotels and Resorts Pvt.Ltd. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service, where every detail feels personal.

Final Word: AamaGhati Is More Than a Stay

AamaGhati Wildlife Resort isn’t just a jungle resort. It’s a soulful luxury experience. We would love to stay there in all seasons and would specially love to explore it again in winters and the monsoons.

It’s where tigers roam nearby, where architecture respects nature, and where food, wellness, and hospitality meet seamlessly. For travellers seeking a high-end escape in the wild—with comfort, character, and connection—AamaGhati is the perfect destination.

We came back refreshed, inspired, and full of stories. Isn’t that what travel is all about?
